Green Holiday Party

For those of you looking to do some eco-networking, take a look at GreenDrinksNYC.com. They are hosting their annual holiday party tomorrow evening at the Prince George Ballroom in Manhattan. Mei H (Ron) Zheng is a senior at NYU’s Stern School of Business and studies Management and Finance with a Specialization in Entrepreneurship. He is a serial entrepreneur and has experience in web 2.0 startups. He is very comfortable with technology and brings significant experience to this venture.

Joseph Rosenberg is a senior at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, focusing his studies on liberal arts and business. An entrepreneur at heart, Joe has been involved in the events and hospitality industry since staring his first company at the age of 13. Joe’s knowledge is especially valuable in the curation of a selection of products for entertaining guests for the holidays.

Bryan Kaufman is currently a junior at the NYU Stern School of Business, majoring in Finance and Business Economics, with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. Having founded a successful 501(c)(3) nonprofit in high school, Bryan has already established himself as a hard working, motivated self-starter. An active user of Amazon, Bryan has a strong understanding of the potential marketing benefits of Web 2.0 and a strong desire to improve the environment. With his interests, motivation and expertise, Bryan is committed to helping build Green Holiday Solutions into a successful, profitable Amazon WebStore.

Christine Waters is a sophomore at NYU’s College of Arts and Science. She has taken various courses in Environmental Studies and currently works for the event planners of Harper’s Bazaar Magazine in New York. Her event planning experience has given her knowledge in recognizing and selecting the most necessary supplies for parties and other holiday events.

Bridget Sheehy is a sophmore at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized study with a concentration in fashion, writing, and entrepreneurship. She has previous experience in crafting and launching small business ventures and a passion for saving the environment. With this past knowledge, Bridget is prepared to use different marketing skills combined with her excitement for all holidays to help launch the Amazon Webstore and maximize product sales.

About Us

Green Holiday Solutions (greenholidaysolutions.com) is a not-for-profit Amazon webstore that our company has created for a project in our Patterns of Entrepreneurship class at NYU's Stern School of Business. The site is an excursive in Web 2.0 marketing and social networking. In line with the eco-friendly theme of our product offerings, all of our profits from the sales on our site will be donated to an environmental charity. In addition to sales, the mission of Green Holiday Solutions is to raise awareness of the environmental impact of holiday celebrations, and to inform the public about ways to lessen their eco-footprint while celebrating the holidays this season.
